This is the chance for you to experience what it is like to be in the spotlight at an elite international law firm.
Attend various talks, workshops and social events as you build your network and gain a depth of knowledge about Weil. You will be assessed for a training contract throughout your time on the Vacation Scheme. A number of assessed elements are scheduled throughout the scheme including: a group exercise, a client pitch and a final round interview.
Throughout the two weeks you will be mentored and supported. We have up to 20 places on our two-week paid schemes, which run during the spring and summer each year. You can apply for one of our Vacation Schemes if you are able to begin a Training Contract in 2022, whatever your degree subject.

Online psychometric test
The Watson Glaser Online Critical Reasoning Test is designed to measure your ability to structure a sound, solid argument, and to test your ability to evaluate information and draw conclusions that can be supported.
Online video interview
This is an opportunity to build on your application form and bring it to life. It offers us more of an insight into both your achievements and motivations for a career in commercial law, especially at Weil.
Interview followed by analytical exercise
Your first in-person interview will be conducted by a partner, an associate and the Graduate Recruitment Manager, and gives you the chance to learn more about the firm and our culture. You will also be asked to complete an analytical exercise and have the opportunity to meet with a trainee to ask questions about the firm.
If we think you are a great match for our firm and have the potential to undertake a training contract, we will offer you a place on our Vacation Scheme. During the scheme, you will be asked to complete a number of assessments.
Offer of Training Contract
In the second week of the scheme you will take part in a final interview that will focus on your interest in a career in commercial law, what you think makes us different, and why you are attracted to our opportunities. If we think you are a great match for our firm and have the potential to become an exceptional lawyer, we will offer you a place on our training programme.
